Privacy mode
When you use TRAE's services, your information like your chat interactions, including related code snippets, may be used for analytics, product improvement, and model training.
When Privacy mode is enabled, TRAE will not store or use any of your chat interactions, including related code snippets, for the above-mentioned purposes.
Important notes
- Privacy mode does not apply to SOLO mode as SOLO mode is still in testing for now.
- Privacy mode does not affect how your codebase files are stored. They remain stored locally on your devices.
Enable Privacy mode
- In TRAE IDE, log in to your account.
- In the top-right corner of the interface, click your avatar, then select IDE Settings from the menu.
- In the Account Settings section, toggle the Privacy Mode switch on.
Note: Privacy mode is only effective when your TRAE account is logged in. Once logged out, Privacy mode is no longer active.
